In honour of this being the first year I'm properly out of the closet, I got this tattoo yesterday that I wanted to share with y'all, and say to all the young and/or closeted LGBTQIA+ folks following me that it gets better - you'll find the people who accept and love you for the way you are, you'll find the person/people you love and you're absolutely a lovable and wonderful human being, even if it seems like your allocishet peers might have more relationship experience than you - it's not a race, especially seeing as the dating pool for LGBTQIA+ folks tends to be a bit smaller, particularly for younger people whose peer group is usually confined to classmates and the like.
